With no cover on the tunnel house at the moment it's clearly not as hot as usual , it's not going to be fixed before Xmas but at least I will have a quote to send though to insurance soon .
On the up side it's out of the wind and was a pleasant temp to get some weeding done . Still plenty to do .
I picked up a giant pumpkin plant for a giant pumpkin contest from our local st fair where I got a few goodies , and meet up with one of my longest friends and her kids then it was back home for them to meet our Dog and the kids to play while we waited for our new calf to arrive , gosh she's cute .
I also sprayed my roses with shield as I found one has scale and a fair few aphids have arrived .
