The aphids have made their way into the tunnel houses now, which nobody will be surprised about! I am trying as a first approach to blast them off my capsicum and chilli plants with water quite regularly. I haven't had the time to do them for a good four or so days and they were quite infested with them today. Interesting enough they are only affecting the one tunnel house at the moment, but it's only a matter of time before they reach the other!

So this is the rest of my outside vegetable gardens. The photo doesnt really show how big this area is. We put the big garden in the back in two years ago, and the two smaller ones last year. The one on the right was moved from where our newest tunnelhouse was, so it was good to recycle that.

The cabbages were planted in autumn, possibly a little too late for down here. I think the start of autumn would of been better so they got a good start before the soil got too cold. But they are finally heading up now and should be ready in a week or two.

At the back along the fence are my fruit bushes, along with my new beneficial insects and birds garden I have blogged about before for the Organic Gardening course I was doing. And my apple trees are along the big garden, which is a great spot for planting the likes of lettuce in summer under.

Please excuse our lawns, they really need a mow!
