How
For best results raise in trays of Yates Black Magic Seed Raising Mix. Firm down and keep moist. Transplant when about 7cm high.
Care
Choose a sunny, well drained position. Add Thrive Granular All Puprose Fertiliser for best results. Protect from snails with Yates Blitzem. Cut the centre head just before flowers open. Plant in a different position each year to avoid soil-borne diseases.
Hint
Great companion plant for Beans, beets, tomatoes, cucumber and potatoes.
Store in a cool dry place away from direct Sunlight. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Originally bred by Yates in Tasmania in the 1920s, Derwent Globe produces deep red, globe-shaped roots. Flesh is deliciously tender, juicy and sweet.
