*Ryegrass will appear in 7 days. Fescue seed may take 5-10 days to germinate. Germination may take longer than specified if the soil temperature is below 12°C and when the soil is not kept sufficiently moist.

Mowing new lawns: when grass is 5-8cm high, cut for the first time. Trim lightly, gradually lowering the mower blades each time you mow, until you reach an ideal cutting height of 2.5cm.
Mowing established lawns: Mow regularly but try not to remove more than a third of the grass height at any one time.
Oversowing: can thicken and strengthen your existing lawn.
After 12 weeks, fertilise your new lawn with Yates® Quarterly Lawn Fertiliser for a healthy, green, lush lawn.
