Garden in progress

One of the best parts of gardening is walking around with a glass of something good and seeing all your hard work coming to fruition.

My garden is looking lush.  Most plants are coming away nicely.  A few are still sitting there thinking about growing but most are going great.  Beans, peas, capsicum, tomatoes, luffa, gourds, lettuce, carrots, eggplant, sun flowers, cosmos, cucumbers, squash, zinnia, zucchini, beetroot, melons…

I have a blackberry on one of the new vines I was given.  We’re eating raspberries most days and strawberries.  The blueberries are loaded with fruit.  The first lot of popcorn is getting tall and the other is getting there. No sign of the sweetcorn from a couple of days ago though.

I am also very excited to announce the presence of two reddening tomatoes outside on one of the unknown volunteer plants.  It looks a little black krim like.

That’s the extent of my gardening today. Wandering round with camera and glass of wine.  To and from the strawberry patch, picking sweet, juicy fruit to eat all by myself.
