Pro Tip: Wild yarrow (Achillea millefolium) and its cultivars spread by creeping underground rhizomes, so can be persistent and difficult to control if they escape and get a foothold in a lawn. Hybrid yarrow cultivars that don't produce seed are generally easier to live with.
Growing yarrow in a pot helps to keep it contained and under control.
